Genesis Conference 2014 Workshops:

Origins and the Fossil Evidence with Dr. Chris Osborne– Main Sanctuary
Fossils provide us with the only direct form of evidence into the history of life. According to the theory of evolutionary common descent, all life forms share common ancestors. If so, then as we look at fossils of past life forms, they should form a blending continuum. However, if the fossil record is dominated by the Genesis Flood, then there should be billions of dead things, buried in rock layers suddenly laid down by water all over the earth. Take a look at the fossils for yourself and see which of these explanations make the most sense.

Living Pterosaur Research with Garth Guessman– Upstairs Youth Room
Hear about fascinating first-hand research and reports of this ongoing project to find living pterosaurs in remote locations of the world. Learn about eyewitness reports as well as historical accounts which speak of dragons and fiery flying serpents which may be interpretations of still-living pterosaurs reptiles like the rhamphorhynchus, ropen, pterodactyl, and more! Hear about Garth’s own encounters and studies on this!

Grand Canyon 3D! with Nate Loper– Main Sanctuary
Join us on a 3D tour to and through the Grand Canyon! Participants will recieve 3D glasses to view certain features of the Grand Canyon that few ever get a chance to see! Nate will be showing 3D pictures and videos that have just been captured during a 9-day river rafting trip at the beginning of May, as well as pictures from the rim of the Grand Canyon taken the week prior to Genesis Conference. Learn about the history, features, and little-known facts of the Grand Canyon which teach us about the creation and flood accounts found in the Bible.

Witnessing to Evolutionists with Bill Morgan– Upstairs Youth Room
Many lectures on Creation are outstanding, but they often are not practical out on the front lines when you are confronted by an atheist. You often never get a chance to implement the detailed lessons you learned when you attempt to defend your faith. You need quick, powerful and simple points. My lesson has “evolved” over many years and is the result of years of street witnessing. I hope to provide Christians at all levels of science knowledge with what I feel are the most effective ways to witness to atheists and evolutionists in schools, at work or on the street.

Genesis Conference 2014 Speakers:

Dr. Thomas Kindell was once an ardent believer in the “fact” of evolution. However, through his exposure to the scientific case for creation, he became a zealous creationist. He has received advanced training in scientific creationism through the Institute for Creation Research and has studied Christian Apologetics and Biblical-Scientific Creationism at California Graduate School of Theology where he received his M.A. in Biblical Studies. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy of Theology.

Bruce Malone spent 27 years working as a research leader for the Dow Chemical Corporation, has a degree chemical engineering, and is responsible for key innovations which have resulted in 18 patents. But his passion is sharing the relevance and evidence for creation, so he retired early to become full time Director of Search for the Truth Ministries. Bruce brings science alive through stories and demonstrations, showing that Biblical creation is the most rational explanation for the world around us.

Bill Morgan is a great communicator and teacher when is comes to sharing the downfalls and problems with Darwinian Evolution and the secular worldview. He has given over 500 talks on various creation science topics and has even participated in many debates on the Creation vs. Evolution issue.   Bill runs the Creation Science Association of Orange County and has regular meetings that are open to the public and cover many topics relating to Biblical creation science.

Dr. Chris D. Osborne, Ph.D. (Biology) has 25 years of teaching experience ranging from middle school through graduate school. His college level teaching experiences are from 9 institutions of higher learning. He has taught a broad range of college level courses in biology, ecology, environmental science, natural history, genetics, paleontology, cell biology, human biology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as scientific models of origins and the history of life.

Nate Loper is a full-time youth pastor and the founding director of the Genesis Creation Science Institute and Genesis Camp. He has been fortunate to speak in various Junior High and High Schools as well as different churches on the topics of Creation vs. Evolution, Astronomy, Noah’s Ark, Geology, Dinosaurs and more. Nate has led numerous creation trips to places like the Grand Canyon and fossil dig sites, and has given Bible-based tours of museums around the world.

Garth Guessman is a leading expert in the search for living pterosaurs and ropens. He has been on multiple expeditions in various places like Papau New Guinea and other remote jungle locations, and has been featured on tv programs such as History’s MonsterQuest. Garth is also the vice president of the South Bay Creation Science Association which meets monthly since 1984 and hosts speakers that share about the latest in Creation Science and the Evolution vs. Creation debate.
