CreationTrip
CreationTrip brought Christian teaching and guided travel together through customized tours, outdoor adventures, field study, and group experiences. It began with trips in the Grand Canyon and the American Southwest, where geology, natural history, Scripture, and firsthand observation could be explored together, and later expanded beyond Arizona.
The project helped GCSI develop a practical model for field-based education: take people to the places being discussed, handle the logistics well, and build the teaching around what participants can actually see and experience. Churches, families, schools, and other groups could participate in customized itineraries ranging from day trips to longer programs and service-oriented experiences.
One of CreationTrip’s most important accomplishments was proving that this approach could grow beyond a single region or subject. The experience gained in planning, guiding, teaching, and coordinating groups became part of the foundation for what later developed into Global Christian Tours, expanding the same basic idea of Christian field education to historic, biblical, archaeological, and cultural destinations.
Customized Christian Trips Through God’s Creation
CreationTrip was a ministry arm of GCSI designed to help churches, families, schools, and groups experience remarkable places firsthand while connecting those experiences with biblical teaching. The goal was not simply to add a devotional thought to ordinary sightseeing, but to build the trip itself around discovery, discussion, observation, and teaching in the field.

Planning, Teaching, and Field Experience
The CreationTrip team drew on years of experience planning group events and travel, handling transportation, scheduling, route planning, group coordination, and teaching so participants could focus on the experience itself. Programs could include outdoor exploration, personalized instruction, creation-science discussion, historical context, prayer, and time together as a group.
That combination of logistics and content became the project’s lasting contribution. CreationTrip demonstrated that Christian educational travel could be both carefully organized and intellectually substantial, with the destination itself functioning as part of the classroom.
