GCSI Projects

GCSI Projects

Over the years, the Genesis Creation Science Institute developed projects that went well beyond individual lectures or articles. Some focused on research, some on student education, some on conferences and digital resources, and others took teaching into the field through guided travel. Together they show how GCSI experimented with different ways of helping people explore biblical creation, science, history, archaeology, and the natural world.

Several of these projects became stepping stones to work that continues today. GCSI’s growing interest in biblical archaeology and history broadened into the Association for Biblical Science & Archaeology, while its field-education and Christian travel projects helped develop ministries such as London Christian Tours and Global Christian Tours.

Research and Education

Ark Project explored questions surrounding Noah’s Ark and created a dedicated ArkSearch.org research resource. Genesis CSI brought articles and multimedia teaching into a mobile format, while Genesis Camp created a week-long, hands-on creation-apologetics experience for students.

Conferences and Public Teaching

Genesis Conferences gathered creation-science speakers, educators, families, and students for lectures, workshops, media, and question-and-answer sessions, including events in 2011 and 2014.

Field-Based Christian Travel

CreationTrip, Southwest Christian Tours, and London Christian Tour developed an approach in which museums, landscapes, historic sites, and archaeological collections became part of the classroom. That field-based model remains one of the clearest links between GCSI’s earlier projects and the educational travel work that followed.
